Payment systems - Medicine
You can pay your tuition fees in the following ways:
You make a down payment of 15% of the total tuition fees. It will be debited by the University three to five days after enrolment. The remainder is financed through a loan with your chosen bank and monthly charges will be debited during the academic year.

You should apply for a loan after enrolment:
- BBVA conditions (Spanish version) - partner organisation.
The bank will contact you. They might request the following documents:- Enrolment form (given to you on enrolment)
- Last three pay slips
- Income tax return for 2019
- If your mortgage or loan is with another bank, proof of your last two repayments.
- If you are not a BBVA customer, a bank statement for the last 6 months from your current account.
- Banc Sabadell - To complete the loan process, fill in the online form. The bank will then contact you.
You should apply for the loan at the bank before you enroll.

- The tuition fees must be paid in full, three days after enrolment.
- There is a 1% discount on the credits you have enrolled for.
- You need to provide your account number for the debit payment.
- Fees are paid in two installments of 50% each, the first on enrolment, and the second on the 1st December. Surcharges and insurance will be charged with the first instalment.
- You need to provide your bank account number for the debit payment.
- The first instalment is charged three days after enrolment.
UVic-UCC has arrangements with different banks so that you can take out loans for master’s degrees with favorable long-term conditions.

Discounts - Medicine
Distinction in a subject taken at UVic-UCC | 25% discount on UVic-UCC credits passed with a Distinction. |
Same family unit | 10% discount for each family member taking the Degree in Medicine |
Special discount for large families |
5% discount on the total price of the credits enrolled for students from large families with special category status at the beginning of the year |
Special discount for single-parent families | 5% discount on the total price of the credits enrolled for students from single-parent families with special category status at the beginning of the year |
People with a disability |
10% discount on the total price of the credits enrolled for students with a disability of 33% or higher |
Victims of terrorist acts |
10% discount on the total price of the credits enrolled for people who have been victims of terrorist acts. This also applies their spouse and children |
Victims of gender-based violence |
10% discount on the total price of the credits enrolled for victims of gender-based violence. This also applies to any dependent children |
To apply for the discount, you must provide the corresponding documents to verify your eligibility. You must take the original and a copy to the Academic Management Area (consult opening hours) or email it to uge@uvic.cat
These discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts. In the event that you are entitled to more than one discount, you will be required to choose one.
