The UVic-UCC Doctoral Programme in Translation, Gender and Cultural Studies is governed by Royal Decree 99/2011, of 28 January, which regulates official doctoral studies.

Doctoral studies are understood as the third cycle of official university studies that lead to the acquisition of competences and abilities related to the capacity to carry out scientific research of quality.
