The aim of the Master's in Omics Data Analysis is to produce well-trained professionals who can perform efficient and thorough analysis of large amounts of genetic and molecular data.
The Master's responds to the growing use of high-performance omics techniques in biomedical research and in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and to the increasing demand for highly-qualified professionals in this field. The programme provides knowledge of the most important techniques in omics data acquisition and analysis. Students will be able to analyse omics data information using appropriate statistical and bioinformatics tools.
In collaboration with research centres and companies in the field the teaching methodology will ensure that a wide range of applications are covered.
Classes are taught in English.
It can be follow in person in Barcelona (teaching from October to March, from Monday to Friday from 3pm to 7pm) or 100% online through pre-recording videos that can be viewed when it suits the student.
