Objectives

This subject aims to complete a narrative animation short, in which the student learns to develop a narrative story, generate initial ideas, create concept art , design storyboards and produce the final animation. In addition, the student learns to apply the appropriate visual style to the content to be communicated, thus reinforcing the knowledge acquired in previous subjects (Digital Animation, Fundamentals of Animation, 3D Modeling).

Evaluation

The subject is assessed continuously, mainly through face-to-face exercises and tutoring. Deliveries are scheduled in the Virtual Campus classroom.

The final assessment is obtained from the weighted average of the different activities planned during the course. The weighting is as follows:

  • Final project: 50%
  • Assessment tests: 30%
  • Participation and monitoring: 10%
  • Oral presentations: 10%

Projects are done individually, unless otherwise directed by the teacher. No recovery phase is foreseen.

Methodology

The sessions are practical and dynamic, with exercises that take place in the classroom in which the concepts and methods explained by the teachers are applied.

On the other hand, the teacher monitors all the practices that are carried out as the course progresses.

To ensure student learning, tutoring is personalized.
