International Relations Office - UVic
The International Relations Office is a coordinating office for strengthening and supporting the international links of faculties and teaching centres.
- We work together with International Academic Coordinators at each centre to streamline and develop relations with educational institutions abroad.
- Highlight international activities, communicate opportunities available for students, and aim to motivate students and staff to take part in international programmes.
- Develop active programmes that may yield fruitful research collaborations in the future. We have memorandums of understanding with universities around the world to promote joint academic activities.
- We help staff and students from abroad visit UVic-UCC, where they will find a space for dialogue and intercultural exchange.
This office aims to
- Promote international education and collaborative activities in specific subject areas.
- Promote the development of student exchange programmes.
- Support student, and teaching and administrative staff mobility.
- Support and encourage all activities in the current UVic-UCC international network and stimulate new initiatives.
