Inscripció al congrés

L'anglès és un idioma transversal que els vostres alumnes necessitaran de cara el futur. Per això hem orgnitzat un congrés 100% en anglès perquè l'alumnat de batxillerat pugui viure l'experiència de participar en un acte internacional. Aquest congrés té una naturalesa transversal, de manera que els alumnes podran participar en tallers de diferents àmbits a escollir entre l'educació, la salut, les biociències o els estudis globals segons els seus interessos personals. 

Aquest congrés és gratuït i, al final de l'acte, cada estudiant rebrà un certificat d'assistència. 

Programa de la jornada:

09.00 – 09.15h: Acreditacions i lliurament de la documentació.

09.15 – 09.30h: Benvinguda a càrrec del deganat de la Facultat d'Empresa i Comunicació de la UVic. 

09.30 – 11.00h: Shaping the future: your role in a globalized world. A càrrec de Júlia Prat, Policy Officer for Bilateral Affairs - Latin America a la Generalitat.

11.00 – 11.30h: Pausa cafè. 

11.30 – 13.30h: TALLERS. 

(Cal apuntar-se prèviament a 1 dels 4 tallers que s’ofereixen simultàniament. Cada taller està pensat per un nombre de participants reduït per garantir una dinàmica participativa. La disponibilitat d'aquests anirà en funció de l'ordre d'inscripció). 

13.30 – 14.00h: Tancament de la Jornada i lliurament dels certificats de participació.

1. Taller: International Summit Simulation Workshop
   This workshop aims to engage students in an immersive simulation of an international summit, fostering their understanding of global issues, diplomatic negotiation, and international relations. 
    
2. Taller: A Sense of Smell
   In this workshop you will learn about the chemical basis of odours. We will talk about what smells are and what types of smells exist, with emphasis on the chemical structure of odours compounds. Afterwards, there will be a practice of odour identification to measure olfactory sensitivity. 
    
3. Taller: Beat the Textbook: Teaching English Through Rap
   Rhythm and Poetry (Rap) is a lyrical genre and despite its use as a resource in schools in countries such as the USA, Brazil or Germany, it has seldom been applied in teaching and learning in Catalonia. This workshop establishes the teaching potential of using rap in an interdisciplinary way. The session will combine theory with practice, and even a little rapping! 
    
4. Taller: Vaping and Respiratory Health in Teenagers 
   The aim of this workshop is to provide information on the risks of vaping to the respiratory system of teenagers and to measure the pulmonary function through spirometry tests. 
   We will explain how the e-cigarettes work, their main components, and the short and long-term effects of vaping. The students will have the opportunity to check their pulmonary function through spirometry tests and will receive advice to keep a good respiratory health.
