The new integrated library management system

The UVic-UCC Library, along with other Catalan university libraries, has changed its management system.

The new programme is a new generation service platform that represents an upgrade on the previous system, especially with regards to the integration of the management of printed and electronic resources, which facilitates consultation and provides a better service to the university community.

Starting in August, UCercatot, the UVic-UCC library resource finder will have a new-look interface.

The most significant changes are:

• You will have to enter your user-id:
  • To check the availability of documents and consult loan conditions.
  • To consult full-text electronic resources and see which years the library has access to.
• My account:
  • Here you will find a summary of your activity, your loans and reservations, penalties and notices and personal details.
  • Please note that you will not be able to view your pre-July 2021 loan history or saved lists.

The loan and reservation service will not be affected by the change and will continue to operate normally. Only the PUC (library consortium loan) will be unavailable until 12 September.

The new system is already fully operational, but it is in its initial phase and there are some aspects that need to be adjusted in order to improve the service for users. All changes will be explained in more detail at the beginning of the academic year.
