As a graduate in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, you will be qualified to work as a general dietician and nutritionist. You will receive scientific training and gain human skills. The new syllabus is designed to improve your scientific knowledge in three main areas: business administration (entrepreneurship, communication and strategic marketing, so that you can work independently as dieticians or nutritionists), sports nutrition (strengthening specific competencies related to food and physical activity and promoting physical activity and competitive sports) and nutrition research (an interdisciplinary area covered on several courses throughout the degree).
Human Nutrition and Dietetics can be studied in face-to-face and blended learning modes, another notable change in the new syllabus. Blended learning facilitates university access for those who would otherwise not be able to study due to a lack of compatibility with jobs and/or families.
