Description
The Doctoral Programme in Educational Innovation and Intervention is a joint PhD programme between the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia and Mondragon University.
Based on an analysis of current needs in educational research, the programme is oriented toward research in the following four areas:
- Comprehensive childhood development, and the conditions required to achieve this in educational contexts.
- Languages, cultures and literatures in the field of education in multilingual contexts, and further study of the phenomena of multilingualism and interculturality in contemporary society and schools.
- Study and design of inclusive educational environments which integrate students with disabilities and those at risk of exclusion, and development of teaching and learning resources to guarantee inclusion.
- Responses to the changing educational paradigms of the knowledge society, to promote research into skills development, innovation in specific areas of education, and the use of information and communication technologies.
